Active Audible  members who get credits on a monthly bases have the option to pause their membership for a total of up to 90 days every 12 months. Pausing your plan allows you to take a break from payments without canceling the plan while keeping any outstanding credits, if any. At the end of this period, your plan will auto-renew until canceled.

Can I put my membership on pause?

To pause your Audible membership through the website, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Select your username from the site’s top navigation.
3. Select Account details from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the Pause membership link.
5. Select Pause membership to confirm.

Notes:

• Memberships billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store aren’t eligible for pause. You can manage your membership anytime through your Google Play or App Store settings.
• Customers on Annual Plans, rather than monthly, are not able to pause their memberships.

Can I put my membership on pause during my free trial?

If you're a Premium trial member, you can pause your free trial for 30 days. To pause your free trial, complete the following steps:

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Select your username from the site’s top navigation.
3. Select Account details from the drop-down menu.
4. Select the Cancel membership link.
5. Select Pause your membership.
6. Select Pause for 30 days to confirm.

Notes:

• Pausing extends your trial period by 30 days.
• You won’t have access to the Plus Catalog or get new credits, but you can continue listening to titles you have already bought with a credit.
• After your pause ends, your trial will resume with access to the Plus Catalog until renewal.
• If you're billed through the App Store or Google Play Store, the option for pausing your membership is currently unavailable for you.

What does it mean to pause my membership?

When you pause your membership, you’ll pause your monthly payments. It’ll pause your benefits too, like new credits and access to included titles.

However, you can still listen to titles you purchased with cash or credit and buy more audiobooks using your outstanding credits or credit card.
