When buying an audiobook to someone, if you have Audible credits, you can use them to purchase gift books. Alternatively, you can buy audiobooks as gifts with or without a membership, simply by using a credit card. Remember that the recipient doesn't need to have an Audible membership to receive and redeem the gifted audiobook.  

Note: The following Audible credits can't be used to purchase gifts:

• credits from a book return
• “bonus" or promotional credits through various offers that weren’t purchased
• credits received as part of a gift membership

How do I gift an Audible audiobook?

1. Go to the title’s detail page on the Audible site.
2. Select More options.
3. Select Give as a gift.
4. Next, choose how you want to send your gift:
   • Email
   • Printable card
5. Fill in the blank spaces provided then select Continue.
6. Review the information you added and select how you want to pay for your gift.
   Note: Coupons can’t be applied toward gift purchases.
7. Select Confirm purchase.

Once you've purchased your gift, you'll receive an email letting you know your purchase was successful. If you chose a printable card, instructions will follow on how to print and fold your card.

Note: Even if you already own the audiobook, you can follow the same steps to gift the audiobook.
